At Blood Saviour, the confidentiality of our associates may be a top priority. As a part of providing Services to you, we may have to send communications to you, like donor or donee details. Blood Saviour helps to match the user in need of blood, through its feature within the application called as “Find a Donor” with the available donor of that specific blood group through its portal. Blood Saviour may offer additional services or revise any of the services. All rights to cease offering of any of the services on the sites are reserved with Blood Saviour. Though donor and donee may like better to communicate with each other via application, as could also be deemed necessary, you comply with receiving phone calls, messages.

  • You want to ensure to provide us with the correct and up-to-date Personal Information. This may allow donee to contact you for further correspondence with respect to donation. We aren't responsible for any inaccurate information you provide to us, which can affect your experience on our app.
  • Blood Saviour is merely an application, which lets their user discover the availability of required blood groups in the geographical limits set by the user through its technical and back end infrastructure. Blood Saviour isn't a blood center or blood bank, it doesn’t provide blood storage, transfusion infrastructure and it doesn’t guarantee the standard safety  of the blood or transfusion. The portal only introduces the 2 interested parties with each other; it has no accountability or responsibility with regard to the authenticity and medical soundness of the user. However, Blood Saviour ensures the simplest safety features through a detailed verification process.

If, at any time, you would like to access, update, modify or eliminate any of your account information at Blood Saviour, you'll do so by clicking "User Profile", then edit/change your sensitive personal information as you want it to be.

The user may or might not be an Indian citizen and at the time of registration and donation, the user might or might not be in the territory of India but he shall be of the age ranging between, 18 years to 60 years. However, donor’s above 45kgs and minimum hemoglobin of 12.5 gm are recommended. Further, the user's last donation should be between three or more months earlier and on the date of donation or prior three months of blood donation. Further, users must be healthy and medically sound. However, the bulk age i.e. 18 years is that the registration criteria on the application and rest of the above mentioned contents of the paragraphs are applicable for the blood donation. Blood Saviour completely abides World Health Organisation guidelines for safety transfusion and National Blood Policy i.e. recognised by the Ministry of Health with reference to the same. However, Blood Saviour shouldn't be interpreted as a blood bank or transfusion agency.

What Information We Collect About You

We don't automatically collect your personally identifiable information. However, you would possibly provide us with your personal and demographic information – including your name, gender, age, address, telephone number , email address. During your visit to our application, we may automatically receive technical information about your device, browser type and browser plug-in details, thanks to the communication protocol settings on the Internet. All this information helps us analyze trends and preferences, and thus assist us in improving our service.

The information of the person who is in need of blood shall be exchanged with the user of the application only, so as to attain the main objective of this non government organization. However, it's always the prerogative of the user, whether to reply or not to respond to the requirement or inquiry with regard to the availability of the specific blood group and at the same time it is the prerogative of the donee, whether to simply accept the donation or not.

Your personally identifiable information is often accessed only on a need-to-know basis by certain Blood Saviour employees who are designated to carry out your requested activity, and every one such employee is bound to strict confidentiality obligations.
